Its perfectly understandable NOT to want to car share, after all, as the saying goes, ‘a man’s home is his castle’; if that’s the case then at the very least his car is his own mobile living room … where he picks his own tunes, picks his nose (if he so desires) and generally revels in his own company, right?
Wrong! Car travel is about adventure, about getting out there and having fun. Car sharing gives you a real chance to meet new people, to hang with your mates who you don’t get to see enough, and to have a blast.
If you want to give it a try … go for it! It’s really easy and we are all here to give you a help if you get stuck.
Happy car sharing,
Drummond

Life’s a journey – share it!
My brother Max has just warned me that the blog is looking slightly unloved … sorry about that. Anyway, hopefully this and our future blogging efforts will make up for it. So what’s been going on at goCarShare? Well …
We’ve been signing up festivals. You’ll be able to car share to the Limetree Festival, a great wee festival if you like the idea of late night cinema, eclectic bands, hot showers, but aren’t so keen on nasty portaloos and economy burgers.
If you like banjos and beards, why not head east to the Ely Folk Festival, or if Flatspin 720s and tailwhips are more your bag, then maybe you should be heading down to Relentness Nass in Somerset to catch some serious BMX and skate action.
Other than that, it has been quite a mix of (boring but important) things – tweeking the website, sorting out financial stuff, legals and paperwork. However, going forward it’s all quite fun, we’ve got a photoshoot this week and then we are designing posters and doing arty stuff. We’ll be updating you with some exciting news in the near future so do keep checking the website.
